SAT KRAK exhibition of digital television and conferences took place in Krakow from 26th to 28th of October 2006. At the moment there is a large number of satellite companies on Polish market: importers and manufacturers of TV-SAT equipment, media groups, broadcasters, digital packages, cable networks, and telecommunication companies.
Poland is also one of the biggest satellite markets in Europe. Almoust two millions citizens, out of 38,5 million country population, have satellite television (FTA/CI, digital packages). Most of them have decoders of digital packages: Cyfra+ (750 thousand), Polsat package (750 thousand) and FTA, CI and PVR receivers (350 thousand). The market for FTA, CI, PVR, HD/MPEG4 recivers is rapidly growing in Poland at the moment. Therefore satellite equipment of all sorts (LNBs, digital FTA/CI/PVR receivers, CAMs, DiSEqC mounts, etc.) as well as HDTV digital receivers are in great demand.
All SAT Krak 2006 visitors were able not only to see the equipment, but also to participate in free training and equipment presentation. Therefore organizers would like to thank all companies which made presentations for installers or enthusiasts.
The SAT Krak 2006 exhibition took a place in the most beautiful Polish city - Krakow from 26th to 28th of October 2006. Therefore visitors and exhibitors also had a chance to see the royal City of Krakow, the former capital of Poland, which has always been an important centre of culture and science.
